Winery review: The nose is an intricate blend of rose petal, sandalwood and the ripe red-speckled skin of plump mirabelle plums. The palate echoes this perfectly, with an off-dry, cushioned and plump feel that just bathes all the senses in ripe fruit. My review: Crisp, clean white wine with rose aromatics. Well balanced acidity, with low tannic components. Hints of sauerkraut after tones. Not long lasting, but the light body and clean refreshing flavors are good on the palette. I did not pair this wine with food. I imagine this going well with a bratwurst, due to the sauerkraut after tones. I think it would compliment the sausage and mustard nicely.
