Tasting - Angeline Vineyards - California Pinot Noir
Name: California Pinot Noir
Variety: Pinot Noir
Region: Sonoma County, California
Country: United States
Year: 2016
Price: $9
Winery review: A solid Pinot Noir, this is surprisingly good for the price. It shows a delicate texture and plenty of dry elegance, along with flavors of tobacco, pomegranate and sour cherry candy. It should be relatively easy to find, with 40,000 cases produced. — S.H. Published 12/31/2012
My review: Smooth with low tannic texture. Easy to drink. Cherry flavors with a dry lasting taste. I would purchase this wine again, as it was a good wine for the price. I also found this in a splitz bottle, which makes the purchase better since I have to worry less about waste. Screw cap. I did not pair this wine with food.
